What is Absolute value?

Absolute value is a set of lines that if any number is placed in it, the number would be positive

Absolute signs: | |

Examples:

|-6|= 6 (Absolute value of -6 is 6)

|9|=9 (Absolute value of 9 is 9) (Because 9 is already positive)

Your Question

Since 1/8 is already positive, the absolute value of it would just be 1/8

Answer:

1/8

Explanation:

The absolute value of positive numbers (decimals, fractions, etc.) is the same number. The absolute value of negative numbers (decimals, fractions, etc.) is the same, but positive.
