Explanation:

3 ln(2x) = 12

ln(2x) = 4

Let both sides be a power of a base e.

e {}^(ln(2x)) = e {}^(4)

The e and ln would just cancel out so

2x = e {}^(4)

x = \frac{ {e}^(4) }{2}
