factor 3x^2-6x=0

3x(x-2)=0

now seperate the equation

3x=0

Divide 3x=0 by 3 on both sides

since you isolate the x by dividing 3x by 3, you’re left with 0/3 which gives you

x=0

Now, onto the second equation.

x-2=0

You would subtract 2 from -2 and 0

you’d be left with

x=2

Therefore, the solutions would be x=0 and x=2

Answer:

The solution set is {0, 2}.

Explanation:

3x^2-6x=0

3x(x - 2) = 0

3x = 0 or x - 2 = 0

x =(0, 2.
