Explain the differences you discovered about academic misconduct versus academic honesty while taking this course. Did anything surprise you? Describe how the academic honesty practices you learned in this course apply or will apply to your life and education.

Paragraph 1:

Throughout this course, I learned about the importance of academic honesty and the consequences of academic misconduct. I was surprised to discover that academic misconduct can take many forms, including plagiarism, cheating, and fabrication. I was also surprised to learn about the severity of the consequences of academic misconduct, which can include failing a course, suspension, and even expulsion from school. The academic honesty practices I learned in this course will apply to my life and education by helping me to maintain my integrity and avoid the negative consequences of academic misconduct. I will strive to always be honest in my academic work and to maintain high standards of academic integrity.

Paragraph 2:

Overall, this class was what I expected and I found it to be very helpful in developing my critical thinking skills. I appreciated the variety of assignments and activities, which helped me to engage with the material in different ways. One of my favorite assignments was the discussion board posts, which allowed me to share my thoughts and ideas with my classmates and learn from their perspectives. I also found the Smartbook Quizzes to be very helpful in reinforcing my understanding of the material. If I were to suggest changes to the class, I would recommend more opportunities for group work and discussion. Additionally, I would suggest more opportunities for feedback on assignments, to help students identify areas for improvement. Overall, I found this class to be a valuable learning experience and I would recommend it to others. Thank you for a wonderful class!
