You can evenly divide 32 by 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32. So the largest common factor of 32 and _______ your number you didn’t mention would be the largest number that they both have in common.

Example, if your other number was 24, you can divide 24 by 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24.
The greatest common factor would be 8, the biggest number both have in common.
