First things first, place the 2 on the y-axis. 2 is your "y" intercept.

Rule of thumb: if there is a constant(single number) alone and without any variable next to it, it's going to be your y-intercept.

Next we need to count up three units from the y-intercept and over four units.

Overall:

The 2 should be plotted on the y-axis.

The new coordinate should be (5,4)
