Read Below

Step-by-step explanation:

Only 1 in every 4 Scouts actually stick through to become an Eagle Scout. I personally have stuck through and am very close. There are many things that make this achievement challenging.

You have to set up, lead, and write a report on a service project. (total hours are 150)

You have to have completed 21 merit badges, 14 of which are Eagle Required. (They add up over the ranks)

You have to serve in your Scout troop for 6 months.

You have to participate in an Eagle Scout Board of Review. It is not like any other scout interview. It's much harder.

You have to write an essay of your life's purpose and ambitions.

However, it is a great accomplishment to achieve this high rank.
