Dascha is making a decorative table to sell at a fair. The cost of her materials is $80. If the table sells for $150, what is the percent of markup?

Answer = 87.5%

Explanation


So to solve for the percent of markup you have to minus the price of the product your selling to the cost of the materials then divide by the cost of the materials and multiply by 100 then you get your answer


150-80=70

70/80=0.875

0.875 • 100 = 87.5%
