From tiny seeds, life takes root
A world of plants, with branches and fruit
Each one unique, with leaves and stems
A kingdom of life, that never ends

The classifications of plants, are many and wide
Divided into groups, with characteristics that guide
From mosses and ferns, to flowering trees
A world of diversity, for all to see

Bryophytes and pteridophytes, the first two classes
With no true roots, they grow in masses
Seed plants come next, divided in two
Gymnosperms and angiosperms, with traits anew

Gymnosperms are ancient, with cones and needles
While angiosperms are newer, with flowers that dazzle
They come in all shapes, colors, and sizes
A world of wonder, for all our senses

So come and explore, the world of plants
A world of beauty, that's truly grand
From smallest moss, to tallest tree
A world of life, for all to see.
