Step-by-step explanation:

Usa and the Soviet Union once were allies before unexpectedly turning their backs on them and refusing to cooperate with the Soviet Union, the US and the Soviet Union were allies. They were quite controlling and didn't want anyone to mess up their plans especially Soviet Union, to interfere with what they wanted. However, the US attempted to impose its beliefs on other nations, and the soviets became angry since they were prohibited from doing likewise. Because they were so daunting, the US is also to blame for the cold war, in my view. They were so adamant about getting people to share their belief in capitalism. The Soviet Union had to always be on guard due to their constant threats, which made them feel threatened and it caused the war.

Answer:

The US refused to acknowledge communism as a valid form of government. The US's biased perspective of communism, tied with their responsibility to manipulate governments and economies all throughout Europe, initiated the Cold War.
