Example: the relationship between nitrogen-fixing bacteria and legume plants such as clover, alfalfa, and soybeans. These bacteria live in the roots of the plants and convert nitrogen into a form that the plants can use, such as nitrates.

Example: Cells and mitochondria - Mitochondria act as the power source for living cells, digesting nutrients and creating energy for the cell in a process called cellular respiration.
