Step-by-step explanation:

The use of imagery, a type of figurative language, depicts a image and make a vivid image in the readers head.

In this poem the imagery is:

“Admitted to the hospital”

Visual: a hospital room with someone that is ill

“Production equipment and made instrumentals out of everything inside his body that wasn’t ready to die”

Visual: cameras, microphones, instruments, sick person using their last days to make music in a hospital

“Grind yourself to sand, offer the grain of you to anyone willing to listen, and hoping they will carry your debris places you will never go”

Visual: sand, beach, ill person giving literal grains of sand or part of their soul to people, person carrying debris all around the world.
