The philosophical framework upon which the Nazis' 'Germany for Germans' idea was built is eugenics. Eugenics aims at improving the genetic quality of the human population through selective breeding and sterilization of those deemed "unfit." The Nazis believed that the Aryan race was superior and sought to eliminate those they deemed inferior, such as Jews, homosexuals, and people with disabilities, from the German population. They believed that this would lead to the creation of a stronger and more united national community. This philosophy was used to justify the persecution and extermination of millions of people during the Holocaust.
