The height of the cylinder is 3.38 inches.

The formula we used is pi*r^2*h. In this case, the height is asked so the formula becomes h=V/pi*r^2. we know volume= 1000 cubic inches and radius= 9.5 inches.So

h= 1000/3.14*9.5^2

h= 3.38 inches
