A survey of 2,000 doctors showed that an average of 3 out of 5 doctors use brand A aspirin how many docs use brand A aspein

unsure if this is correct but,
2000 into ⅜
=2000x ⅜
=750.
therefore, 750 out of 2000 doctors use brand A.

how to get ⅜?
3+5= 8 and then divide three and five over eight.

to show that the answer is correct:
⅝x 2000= 1250 (the remainder of doctors from the above answer)
