Transitioning to energy sources that do not emit greenhouse gases, such as solar, wind, biofuels, and nuclear, can slow the pace of climate change, though these energy sources face hurdles ranging from manufacturing capacity to debates about where to install some facilities.

The issue grows larger and more challenging to fix the longer we wait to confront it. Using fewer cars, electric vehicles, and flying less will not only help slow down climate change but also lower air pollution.
