Answer:

Josh ran further

Explanation:

I converted Josh's yards to miles.

(3200yards)/(1 ) ·
(3 feet)/(1 yard) ·
(1 mile)/(5280feet) cancel out the words that you see on the top and on the bottom

(3200)/(1) ·
(3)/(1)
(1mile)/(5280) Now simplify by multiplying

(9600 miles)/(5280) = 1.8181... This is a repeating number

1.8181... is larger than 1.8

Answer: Josh ran the farthest.

Explanation:

1 mile = 5,280 feet

1.8 miles = 1.8 x 5,280 feet = 9,504 feet

1 yard = 3 feet

9,504 feet = 9,504 / 3 yards = 3,168 yards

So Jason ran 3,168 yards.

Since 3,200 yards is greater than 3,168 yards, Josh ran the farthest.
