Kim has three jars holding marbles. The first jar has one red, one green and one yellow marble. The second jar has one blue and one white marble. The third jar has one pink, one black and one brown marble. Kim picks a marble from each jar without looking. What is the probability she has a red, a white and a pink marble in her hand?

The probability is 1/18

There’s a 1/3 chance she picks a red marble, a 1/2 chance she picks a white marble and a 1/3 chance she picks a pink marble.

Fundamental Counting principle(i think that’s what it’s called) says that you can just multiply those values and get 1/18.
