Why do objects feel warmer when they have received radiant energy from the sun?

Answer: Because when you absorb the thermal energy from the sun it turns into heat

Explanation: Light is a type a wave that carries thermal energy. When homochains or other species or objects get hit by this light we are absorbing the thermal energy because energy is neither created nor destroyed but only transforms or transfers. Hope this was helpful!
