well they stop believing in gods because they were mainly polytheism meaning;

They believed in to many gods.

Since the believed in multiple gods alt he Greeks did not know which one is the “ real god for them “

Which then stop actually stopped believing in gods because they never knew which one is the “ real god “ like said up top.
