Pollution is the bringing of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are defined as pollutants. They can be natural and can also be produced by humans. An example would be garbage or toxic waste produced by practice released into water.
Pollutants damage the quality of air, water and land, therefore, it results in pollution.
