The points (3,-2) and (15, r) lie on a line with slope -3/4. Find the missing coordinate r.​

slope formula is m= y2-y1 / x2-x1

plug in the things you know so r-(-2) / 15-3

(r +2)/12 = -3/4

solve algebraically and you get r= -11
