Perception plays an important role in the selection process. Every individual is of different perspective in the same area. The incident that I faced was during the selection of my degree college,the college i wanted was bit far from my place but gave all the best facilities which were essential in the journey towards graduation. Hence, I had a positive perception and others felt it was far and not so worthy due to the travelling and fees it costed. But i select the college of my choice because I found it best as it was best fit according to my criteria. therefore, selection is completely based on the perception of an individual.
