What is 16 + 2x = 2 + 4x

You first subtract positive 2x from positive 4x making it positive 2x which would make the equation 16= 2+2x then you subtract 2 from positive 2 and subtract 2 from positive 16 making the equation 14=2x then you distribute the 2x under 14 divide it and the answer will be 7
