During the presidency of Barack Obama (2008 to 2016), Congress and Obama have disagreed on the possible solutions to the problems of gun violence. Because of their disagreement, no significant legislation has been passed during this time period because the president would have vetoed any law Congress sent along on gun control. State your opinion on how Congress and the President could come to agreement and get a law passed despite the power of each branch to stop the passage of laws on this issue.
