When Alexis adopted her puppy, the puppy weighted 12 pounds. One year later, the puppy weighted 60 pounds. By what percent did the puppy's weight change in one year?

Explanation:

Original wieght = 12

New weight = 60

Change = 60- 12= 48

Change percent = change / original x 100 = 48 / 12 x 100 = 400 %
