this doesnt mean the organism becoming the strongest or fastest

especially with climate change & the changing environment

its means wil the organism CHANGE ALSO so that

the organism can get what it wants or needs in terms of

food

shelter

mating

protecting itself

so it can avoid EXTINCTION

Adaptation is important because it helps organisms survive and pass on their genes to the next generation.

The formula for adaptation is: genetic variation + natural selection = adaptation.

An example of adaptation is a chameleon changing its skin color to blend in with its surroundings.

Organisms must adapt to changing environments to survive and pass on their genes to the next generation.

Adaptation is important because it helps organisms better fit their environment and avoid extinction.
