The senior class at high school A rented and filled 7 vans and ten buses with 332 students. High school B rented and filled 4 vans and 15 buses with 459 students. each van and each bus carried the same number of students. find the number of students in each van and each bus.

Answer: Let x be the number of students in each van.

Then 7*x = 332

x = 46

Let y be the number of students in each bus.

Then 15*y = 459

y = 31

Therefore, there were 46 students in each van and 31 students in each bus.
