Any part of the body that participates, either actively, passively, voluntarily, or involuntarily, in the production of sounds of speech (I.e. talking). Certain organs have certain functions, like the tongue and teeth being articulators for words, etc. There are four main components to the organs of speech which are:
- oral
- pharyngeal
-nasal
- diaphragm
