Im struggling in what to write for my english story - 1000 words

- Its about a girl who lives in a world where superpowers are a thing (some people are born with it and some are not)
- usually these super powers are used for good, but suddenly theres a big threat and she or he have to try and save (they are 'powerless')


heres what Ive written so far:

I open my eyes, looking around seeing blood splattered everywhere around me, people running, desperately trying to get away from something, the sounds of their screaming filled my ears.

I tried to make out what was happening, panicked and confused, I picked myself up off of the floor, but realised that my hands were stained with something viscous and red. It was blood. My eyes widened, what had happened? A headache pierced my brain, I felt as if a single lightning bolt kept striking, repeatedly hitting each of my brain cells. I tried to get up but staggered, finally gaining the strength to stand. I looked around,
