I need to find the slopes of line 1 and line 2. :(-example-1

Answer:

For line 1:


m = ( - 40 - 4)/(4 - 0) = ( - 44)/(4) = - 11

For line 2:


m = ( - 85 - 14)/(8 - ( - 1)) = ( - 99)/(9) = - 11

The lines have the same slope, so they are parallel.
