Explanation:

For Big Circle

Radius (R) = 11yd

We know Area of a circle,

(A1) = πr²

(A1) = 3.14×11²

(A1) = 379.94yd²

For Small Circle

Radius (R) = 6yd

We know Area of a circle,

(A2) = πr²

(A2) = 3.14×6²

(A2) = 113.04yd²

Now,

Area of the shaded region = A1 - A2

= 379.94yd²-113.04yd²

= 266yd²

Therefore, Area of the shaded region is 266yd²
