now multiple equation 1 by 2, we will get

-6x+8y=36

now add both the equation,

-6x+8y=36

+ 6x+2y=-6

= 10y=42

y = 21/5

now put the value of y in eq 2

6x+42/5=-6

30x+42=-30

30x=-72

x= -12/5
