Answer is 96 because scale factor is 2. For the hypotenuse of the triangle, it goes from 146 to 73. In order to do this you divide by 2. Same thing with the longer leg of the triangle. In order to get from 110 to 55, you divide by 2. However, since we need to go from 48 to a larger number we use the inverse of divide by 2. So we will multiply by 2 instead to find the remaining side. 48x2=96. So the missing side length is 96.

110/55 simplified = 1/2
Ratio = 1/2 or 1:2

1/2 = x/48

1 X 48 = 2 X x

48 = 2x

24 = x

Answer = 24
