4x-2y=4 simplifies to -2y=-4x+4, which is y=2x-2

-4x+2y=-3 simplifies to 2y=4x-3, which is y=2x-1.5

this means that they have the same slopes, 2.

they have different y-intercepts. the first one's is (0,-2) and the second one's is (0,-1.5)
