yes, it will increase the volume by four times.

2 x 3 x 4 = 24
8 x 3 x 4 = 96

(24 x 4 = 96)

If you think about it, you are essentially stacking four equal size boxes on top of each other, which combines is 4x the original box size.

Answer:

yes, the volume would be increased by 4

Explanation:

the volume for a box is l x w x h

lets say l = 4, w = 3, and h = 2

this would give us a volume of 24

now calculate the new volume: l x w x 4h

4 x 3 x (4 x 2) = 96 which is 4 times bigger than 24
