Answer:

a). slope = 0 so it is zero slope

b). slope = -3/2 , it is negative

c). slope is undefined

d). slope = 1/3 , it is positive

Explanation:

The slope formula is slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) keeping this in mind we will begin with a):

a): (-3,2) and (4,2)

2-2/4-(-3) = 0/7 = 0 -> this is your slope for a) and it is simply zero slope

b): (-1,3) and (1,0)

0-3/1-(-1) = -3/2 -> this is your slope for b) and it is negative

c): (1,2) and (1,4)

4-2/1-1 = 2/0 = undefined. this simply can not happen. if it was flipped it would be 0. (for example. 0/2 = 0 but 2/0 = undefined.) so your slope for c) -> undefined

d): (4,4) and (1,3)

3-4/1-4 = -1/-3 = 1/3 -> this is your slope for d) and it is positive because the negatives " - " cancels out.
