Can someone help with this fast!?!?!

Trying to get better at doing word problems like this is would help a lot.

Laney made $520 in the salon where she works. She charged $65 per appointment and received $100 in tips, but also had to pay a rental fee for her chair of $12.50 per appointment. Write an equation to represent this situation and solve the equation to determine how many appointments Laney had.

Answer:

She had 8 appointments

Explanation:

Let x = the number of appointments

65x + 100 - 12.5x = 520 Combine like terms

52.5x + 100 = 520 Subtract 100 from both sides

52.5x + 100 - 100 = 520 - 100

52.5x = 420 Divide both sides by 52.5

(52.5x)/(52.5) =
(420)/(52.5)

x = 8
