What sort of government did Julius Caesar lived under according to Aristotle's classification system (rule by one, rule by few, rule by many).

According to Aristotle’s classification system, governments can be classified based on two principles: who holds power and whether they govern in the interest of all or for their own benefit. Based on these principles, Aristotle identified three “true forms” of government: rule by one (monarchy), rule by a few (aristocracy), and rule by many (polity) where rulers govern in the interest of all.

Julius Caesar was appointed dictator which was an office with supreme power under the republic. Rome still had a republican form of government after Julius Caesar took over. So according to Aristotle’s classification system, Julius Caesar lived under a monarchy.
