Answer:

Explanation:

You have a orthogonal triangle so you have to use the Pythagorean Theorem .

Pythagorean Theorem :

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

You have to find b =x , c = 12

AB = c/2 = > AB = 12 /2 =6 => AB = a =6

so : a =6 and c =12

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

b^2 =c^2 - a^2

b^2 = 12^2 - 6^2

b^2 = 144 - 36

b^2 = 108

b = sqrt(108)

b = 10,4 = x

so x=10,4
