(g o f)= 2(3x + 2)^2 (g o f)= put f(x) into g(x)

= 2(3x + 2)(3x + 2) (expand the squared term)

=2(3x(3x + 2)+2(3x + 2)

=2(9x^2 +6x +6x + 4)

=2(9x^2 +12x +4) (multiply each term by 2)

=18x^2 + 24x +8

(g o f)(-4)= (18x^2 + 24x +8)(-4) (multiply each term by -4)
