Why sugar mills are located closer to sugar cane farms​

Answer:

Because the sugar cane contains sucrose and once you cut the sugar cane the sucrose start to decline.

Sugar mills are located near sugarcane fields as the juice of the harvested sugarcane dries up within 16 hours of its harvesting. Thus sugarcane has to be delivered quickly to the mills also please like
