The equation shown in the graph can be written as:

y = -(x - 1)³ + 2

Which is the equation in the graph?

We can see a cubic equastion that has been inverted over the horizontal axis, and that has a critical point at (1, 2)

So,if the parent function is:

y = x³

We reflect it:

y = -x³

We translate it one unit to the right and 2 units up, then we get:

y = -(x - 1)³ + 2

This is the function shown in the graph.
