Hi,

Answer:

Tobacco disrupts the milk ejection reflex and even gives it a taste and smell that is not very pleasant for the baby.

The alcohol ingested by the mother passes directly into her milk (the alcohol level in the milk is identical to that contained in the blood), so as with cigarettes, it is better to disregard it completely.
