  1. When Earth is in between the sun and moon (they're all aligned), the light that is falling to the moon gets blocked and this is when Lunar Eclipse occur. It takes place at the full moon.
  2. Solar Eclipse on the other hand, is when the moon orbits Earth, it moves between the sun and Earth and the light of the sun gets blocked by the moon.
  3. Lunar Eclipse occurs more often than Solar.
