With so much rain coming all year, soil erosion will definitely be a problem if not handled. The splashing of the water on the soil and the subsequent runoff will increase soil erosion. Your farm will lose soil if this is not stemmed and losing soil can lead to a number of negative consequences.

Loss of Nutrients.

One such effect of soil erosion which will be another major concern is the loss of nutrients. This happens when the structure of the soil is broken down by the erosion and the various nutrients in the soil will be carried off as the rain moves away and lost to your farm.
