While eating lunch, Douglas noticed that 15 students chose to eat chicken and 19 chose to eat pizza. What is the ratio of students in his class who chose to eat chicken to the total number of students?

15 : 34 is the correct answer

15 + 19 = 34

15 ate chicken

34 total students (assuming everybody ate either pizza or chicken)
