In this stanza, Nikki Giovanni used a type of figurative language. I'm trying to figure it out. Pls help! (I'm talking about the lions and wardrobe piece. I'm not sure what type of figurative language is used.)

But there was a world
Somewhere
Out there
And Mrs. Long opened that wardrobe
But no lions or witches scared me
I went through
Knowing there would be
Spring

Answer:

Most likely a Synecdoche.

Step-by-step explanation:

A Synecdoche uses one part to refer to a whole. The "lions or witches" part is probably referring to the threats in that world in general.
