The median in the data set is the middle so, for a group of numbers like this you would put them in order from least to greatest and find the number in the middle with and equal amount of numbers on either side of it. If there is an even amount of numbers, like in this question you would find the average of the two numbers in the middle. So you would find the average of 65 and 61 by adding them together and dividing by two, getting an answer of 63.
