Slope is Rise/Run or (-2/16) or - (1/8)

Explanation:

Slope is also known as the Rise/Run between two points on a line. The Rise it the change in y and the Run is the change in x that produces the change in y.

Take two points from lowest to highest x and calculate the Rise and Run:

(-7,4) to (9,2)

Rise = (2 - 4) = -2

Run = (9 - (-7)) = 16

Slope is Rise/Run or (-2/16) or - (1/8)
